​When God had finished creating man and woman, He decided man would need a faithful companion so he created DOGS.

After producing many kinds he decided to excel himself and produced the most beautiful dog of all, the BOXER!

​

He set to work with his modelling clay and soon he set him out to dry in the sun.

​

Some small dogs came by and admired this new creation.

​

"You are truely the best thing we have ever seen!"

​

"Thank you" said the Boxer

​

Some Cats and Ponies came by and again they commented on his looks also,

​

The Boxers head swelled with pride.

​

Finally a Great Dane came past he said nothing and went to pass the Boxer without comment,

​

Chaos ensued!

​

The most terrible fights broke out and in the melee the Boxer fell to the ground and bashed his then, long nose.

​

God appeared and sorted out the squabbling dogs,

​

"You, Great Dane, be on your way!"

​

"And you by beauty, can keep your new face to remind you of your folly"

​

so there you have it,

But we still think they are very beautiful
